"Great Accomodations!"
We stayed at the Arrow Private Hotel for two nights and were treated to great mountain views and fabulous sunrises/sunsets. The room was BEAUTIFUL, large, and very comfortable. The unique design had the bathroom flow into the bedroom, but it could be sectioned off for privacy. The cement floors, while cold in the morning, made the place clean with a very classy design. The HUGE tub was used by both of us to soak after a long-day visiting Arrowtown's sites and shops. The breakfast could use some variety, but what was provided arrived in a neat little cubby and was well prepared. I especially loved the ginger-mango jelly. The location was perfect for walking into town. We appreciated this flexibly since we could return to the room during the day to drop off packages and get a cup of tea. We will return!
"So happy we found this wonderful hotel!"
A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting a short walk from Arrowtown’s Main Street. We were warmly greeted by the lovely friendly owner, Becky, and shown to our very spacious, modern room. We had a very comfortable king bed together with a lovely and very modern bathroom with a stand-alone bath where you can relax and unwind with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. A very satisfying cooked breakfast along with fruit, cereal and juice was delivered to the room at a pre-arranged time. We really enjoyed our four night stay at The Arrow Private Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting accommodation in this very beautiful part of the South Island.
"Amazing, Restful and Friendly"
We stayed 2 great nights at the Arrow. We were greeted by Marie who was so welcoming. The room was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. On both mornings Marie prepared a lovely breakfast. I would have loved to stayed longer! Can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!
"Sanctuary in Arrowtown"
Stayed 3 nights to conclude a visit mostly in Queenstown. Peaceful retreat, beautifully appointed suite & just a short walk in to town centre. Breakfast arrived via “Secret Cupboard” and was delicious!
"Great stay!"
We stayed for 4 nights recently at the beginning of March. Great room, lovely bath where you can gaze out at the mountains. Pity there was no balcony, there seems to be only one apartment that has a balcony. A little complaint regarding the pillows - a little too thin and hard for our liking. Breakfast was nice but not a lot of variety over 4 days. Undercover parking very handy. A dedicated area out of sight of the units is needed to hide all the gardening equipment etc. Great location, walking distance to town with a variety of cafes and restaurants, it is truly a beautiful town! Bike hire close by for some wonderful rides nearby. We enjoyed our stay thank you and would recommend your hotel.
"Quiet and Quirky"
Stayed here for 2 nights and didn’t know what to expect. Was lovely and modern and out of the way from the tourist hub. Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed and a lovely modern room with big walk in shower. Breakfast included so was delivered to the room by a wee cupboard that opened from interior and exterior. Very unusual and great idea. Breakfast was delicious! Short walk to town so very handy to go to the restaurants. Would highly recommend.
"Perfect Attention to Everything"
From initial booking, reception greeting, room quality and hospitality from Marie, our initial 1 night inquiry turned into a 3 night stay. Peaceful, beautifully appointed attention to detail. Highly recommended and we will stay again on our next visit.
"Clean Modern Gorgeous"
Pros: poplar suite was gorgeous. Bathtub was phenomenal. Views were spectacular. Spacious, clean, private. Breakfast was top notch- we were so impressed. Very highly recommended. Easy to park our car as well.
"Most Highly Recommend"
My husband and I recently stayed at The Arrow for 11 nights. The Arrow was an excellent choice in every regard! First, the hotel itself was a gem! The suites are generously sized and designed with close attention to modern, comfortable aesthetics. White subway tiles line the bathroom walls, while gray flooring tiles and frosted, retractable glass panes add sophistication. Our bathroom included a double shower, double sinks, plenty of counter space, heated towel bars and a full sized tub. The suite also includes a stocked kitchenette, comfy sofa, large bed with lovely white comforter and best of all large windows with mountain views. As much as we enjoyed the accommodations, it truly was Becky and Margaret’s gracious hospitality which made our time at The Arrow most memorable! We most highly recommend The Arrow Private Hotel.
"Luxury Luxury Luxury"
From the moment we spoke to Rebecca, the delightful owner of the hotel, we knew we would be in for an absolute treat. This boutique hotel is simply stunning. We started our two day stay with complimentary champagne and great conversation in the stone cottage. There was nothing that was too much trouble for Rebecca, and we were encouraged to visit some amazing restaurants in Arrow Town which we enjoyed on the two nights we stayed. Rebecca truly cares about her customers, and it is her service which takes the whole experience from simply staying in a lovely hotel to something completely special.
